New chair for Development Trusts Association

Micheal Pyner, chief executive of the Shoreditch Trust, has been appointed as the new chair of the Development Trusts Association, the umbrella body for the country's 450 development trusts.
Pyner succeeds Dave Clarson, coordinator of the Burton Street Project in Sheffield, who has stepped down as chair after four years, but will remain on the board.
