Poll shows crunch could reduce corporate social responsibility

Business leaders think the commitment of companies to good causes could buckle under the worsening financial outlook.
In a poll by Echo Research , 36 per cent of senior professionals said they believed the number of corporate social responsibility programmes would fall because of pressure on budgets. Only 18 per cent of the 90 respondents thought the number of programmes would increase, and 45 per cent thought...
