Use natural light, charities urged

Charities should plan their offices to take advantage of natural ventilation and make the most of natural daylight, according to a new energy-saving guide issued by the Carbon Trust.
Specifically designed for charities, the guide also contains tips such as labelling light switches to allow staff to select only the ones they need, providing bicycle storage and switching from desktop computers to more energy-efficient laptops.
