Scheme supports recycling groups

Environment secretary Hilary Benn is today launching a programme to support third sector groups involved with recycling, reuse and waste minimisation.

The £4.6m capacity-building scheme, funded by Wrap , the Government's waste-reduction body, will offer consultancy support, marketing and fundraising training to charities and social enterprises working to encourage sustainable management of resources.
