Breakthrough appoints new manager

Social enterprise support organisation the Community Action Network has appointed a new manager for Breakthrough, its social investment fund founded in partnership with European private equity firm Permira.
Denise Holle, a former Merrill Lynch equity analyst, will be responsible for social enterprises in the second strand of the Breakthrough programme, and will also work to develop strategic investment partnerships.
