Google gives free adverts to Children's Society for mentoring scheme

Internet giant Google has agreed to give a 'grant' to the Children's Society in the form of free advertising for one of its programmes.
The charity has secured a Google grant for its National Mentoring Initiative. The deal means a web address for the scheme will appear in 'sponsored links' when searches are made for mentoring or volunteering opportunities. The arrangement will last for three months.
