Four million more children a year are living beyond their fifth birthdays than in 1990, a new report for Save the Children and Unicef has found.
A special festival to mark the 10th anniversary of the death of Joe Strummer, the singer with The Clash, is to be held this August, with proceeds going to Strummerville, a charity supporting aspiring musicians that was set up in the singer's memory.
