The move, which includes a redesigned website, is to reflect the think tank's values of "independence and passion"

The think tank New Philanthropy Capital has rebranded and launched a new website in a bid to reflect its changing role.

It said it was proud of its decade-long history helping other charities use their resources more effectively but said its strategic goals had changed and that it wanted to reflect this.

The new look reflected its values of independence and passion, it said, and demonstrated its aim of transforming the charity sector for the better.

NPC said it received funding from a grant-making foundation, which wished to remain anonymous, to cover the £50,000 cost of its new website, created by Public Zone. It also received pro bono advice from the communications consultancy Blue Rubicon.

The charity also worked with MakeUP, a design specialist, and paid the company £15,000 to develop a new logo.

"NPC is all about supporting charities to do their best so that they can help as many of their beneficiaries as possible," said Dan Corry, chief executive of NPC. "To do this we felt we needed to update our brand to communicate what we’re trying to achieve, and develop a new website that is accessible, user-friendly, easily managed and able to showcase what we have to offer."
