Oxfam sales up 3.5%

Oxfam has credited a rise in sales from its shops to a mixture of good branding and bargain-hunting by the British public.
Sales at the charity's 730 stores topped £80m in the year to April – a 3.5 per cent increase on the previous year. A spokesman for the charity said that Oxfam had successfully used its boutiques and bookshops to differentiate itself as a higher-quality brand. He said Oxfam had also...
