Accounting diploma short cut to close

The Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales is to stop allowing voluntary sector accountants to receive accounting diplomas on the strength of their experience, rather than by taking exams.
Those who still want to qualify for a Diploma in Charity Accounting through their experience will have to apply for it by the end of July, the institute said. It is making the change because it believes that all senior charity accountants who want to apply for the qualification should...
