Ad firm puts office space up for grabs in charity giveaway

A London advertising agency is inviting charities to compete to win 1,400 sq ft of office space rent-free for two years.

Karmarama is moving to new premises this month and decided to donate the final two years of its fully paid lease, worth £120,000, to charity after its existing landlord refused to waive the lease, which expires in February 2006.

"There must be a number of causes struggling to make ends meet," said David Buonaguidi, creative director at the agency. "We want to find the one for whom two years' free rent will make a big difference."

Interested charities wishing to nominate themselves for the loft space in Chalk Farm, should write no more than 500 words on why they deserve the space, and send it to office@Karmarama.com.
