Andy Elvin appointed chief executive of Tact

Andy Elvin has joined the specialist fostering and adoption agency Tact as chief executive. He has been the chief executive of Children and Families Across Borders since 2009 and has sat on a number of government working groups.

The Pensions Trust has appointed Mike Ramsey as its new chief executive. Ramsey, who has been acting interim chief executive since April, previously held the same post at Barbon Insurance. 

The Fremantle Trust, a care home provider and charity, has appointed Steve Flanagan as chief executive. He has previously held senior positions at British Airways and the healthcare company Bupa.

Mark Devlin has been appointed chief operating officer at Unicef UK. He has more than 20 years of experience in senior healthcare management positions in NHS trusts.

Rosemarie Pardington has been appointed director of services at Leonard Cheshire Disability to lead its social care services in the UK. She has worked for the charity for more than 15 years, having joined in 1999, and was promoted to managing director in 2009.
