Politics: Manifesto for Action

Ken Livingstone, the Mayor of London, and Jim Fitzpatrick, minister for London, launched the Southbank Partnership's Manifesto for Action last week. The partnership brings together local councillors, commercial companies, charities and statutory bodies operating in the South Bank, Blackfriars and Waterloo areas of London to discuss how to improve community safety, the environment and the education and employment prospects of local residents.
