Campbell pursues new funding goals

Tony Blair's former press secretary, Alastair Campbell, kicked off a fundraising drive for the Leukaemia Research Fund last week by auctioning his signed copy of the Hutton Report. The lot was won by advertising guru Trevor Beattie, who bid £10,000.

Campbell began his involvement with the fund after the death of a close friend and his daughter from the disease. Last year, Campbell raised over £350,000 in a series of runs including the London Marathon. Campbell now hopes to recruit around 200 teammates for the London Triathlon on 1 August.
