Cavell Nurses' Trust appoints Stephen Charlton as chief executive

Cavell Nurses' Trust has appointed Stephen Charlton as its chief executive. He was previously chief executive of a housing company based near Dusseldorf, Germany, and an honorary treasurer of the trust.

Jon Hughes has been appointed chief executive of the London Youth Games Foundation. He was previously head of sport at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Dylan Mathews has joined the peacebuilding charity Peace Direct as chief executive. He has moved from Y Care International, a youth-focused international development agency, where he was director of international programmes.

The Royal Forestry Society has appointed Caroline Hukins as its fundraising manager, a new role to develop and expand educational programmes. She was previously a fellow on the Clore Social Leadership Programme.

Clare McVicker has taken up the new role of director of research advocacy at JDRF, a diabetes research charity. She joins from the Wellcome Trust, where she was a manager in the department of cellular, developmental and physiological sciences.
