Government cash will help enterprises tackle health issues

The Government has teamed up with the Social Enterprise Coalition to develop a new fund that will encourage health commissioners to work with social enterprises on problematic health and care issues.
Innovation for Life Challenge Fund, which is funded from the Department of Health’s £100m Social Enterprise Investment Fund, will allow strategic health authorities to bid for up to £100,000 to commission social enterprises for specific projects.
