Communications News: Come fly with me

Save the Children is holding a photographic exhibition to explore how children from former war zones manage to retain their innocence. 'The Happiest Days of Your Life' features images such as this one of a boy from a Sinhalese shanty town, near Colombo, Sri Lanka, playing with a newspaper kite. The charity commissioned Ben Ingham this year to photograph 20 children at play in the former war zones of Rwanda, Serbia and Sri Lanka. The project aims to challenge assumptions about the differences between children in developing countries and the UK. The show runs at the Basement Gallery in east London from 26 April to 7 May, and prints can be bought at www.savethechildrenshop.co.uk.
