Deadline to enter Third Sector Awards extended

Charities and other sector organisations now have until 9 June to enter

The deadline has been extended until 9 June to enter this year’s Third Sector Awards, which recognise the achievements of charities, social enterprises and the companies that support them.

There are 26 categories this year, including new awards for Financial Leadership, Communications Agency of the Year, Communications Team of the Year, Best Charity Law Firm and Charity Chief Executive of the Year.

The judging criteria has been improved this year to make entering the awards easier and to show more clearly what the judges will be looking for. The categories have been split into three groups – excellence, partnerships and talent awards – to help organisations quickly identify the awards they want to enter

All entrants will also receive feedback on their applications based on the judges’ scores and remarks.

The closing date for entries is now 9 June. Entries cost £50 plus VAT for charities and social enterprises with incomes of less than £500,000 a year; and £120 plus VAT for all other organisations. Organisations can still enter the awards until 16 June but entries submitted between 10 and 16 June will be subject to a late fee of £50 plus VAT.

The awards will be presented at a black-tie ceremony at the Lancaster London hotel on Wednesday 14 September.
