Finance News: Futurebuilders sets up a hotline service for funds enquiries

Futurebuilders, the £125m Home Office fund to promote voluntary sector public-service delivery, has launched a new telephone hotline enquiry service.

Futurebuilders officially opened for applications earlier this month.

It offers mixed finance packages of loans and grants from £30,000 to £10m.

Around 250 charities and voluntary groups will receive funding over the next three years.

Chief executive Richard Gutch said: "So far, we have received more than 60 applications and have more than 300 voluntary and community groups currently processing applications online.

"Our new telephone hotline will certainly make it easier for applicants to talk through their queries with our staff. This is part of our commitment to being an open and accessible organisation."

The hotline is open between 10am and 4pm on weekdays, apart from Thursday when it is open between 10 and 12 noon.
