Foyer Federation revamps web site

The Foyer Federation, which provides accommodation and training for homeless 16-25 year olds, has revamped its web site to reflect a more youthful image.

"The old web site was quite static, with very little colour and it wasn't updated regularly," said Katherine Lewis, head of communications at the charity.

The updated internet site, www.foyer.net, aims to provide an online community resource for all sections of the Foyer movement including residents, supporters and other charities.

The charity also hopes to use the site to capture the imagination of the general public.

"People can learn about volunteering opportunities, there is a gallery of photographs taken by Foyer residents and we're also working on an online newspaper that will be produced by the residents," said Lewis.
