Free funding seminar at Tate Modern

A free seminar designed to help charities improve their online fundraising strategies will take place at London's Tate Modern next month.

Guest speakers from the UK and Canada will compare international case studies in an effort to share best practice ideas, help charities improve their website management, develop their online campaigns and better understand Web 2.0.

The seminar, hosted by technology firm Rapidata Services and Canadian online fundraising consultancy Artez Interactive, takes place on 9 May.

“For some years now, online fundraising has been low on the agenda for many charities and many seem stuck with the ‘donate now’ button,” said Scott Gray, managing director of Rapidata. “Online tools and websites now offer charities far more opportunities to engage with their supporters in cost-effective and innovative ways.”
