More than 3,000 people have registered on the new Funding Central website, which lists grants and contracts available to the third sector.
The site went live in mid-June. The Cabinet Office is paying umbrella body the NCVO £1.6m to deliver it over three years.
An NCVO spokesman said it had attracted 9,762 visits and initial accessibility problems had been resolved.
"A small number of users experienced difficulties with certain features of the website, but this has now been addressed," he said.
The site will not limit the number of funding opportunities it lists, despite criticism that some were of limited interest to charities, he said.
"We do not accept that there are non-relevant funding opportunities," he said. "It would be wrong of us to decide what voluntary organisations and social enterprises can apply for.
"We use government procurement guidelines when selecting the contracting opportunities to be included."
