FUNDRAISING NEWS: Bank workers shed pounds for Sense

Ten executives from the Royal Bank of Scotland have raised £4,000 for deafblind charity Sense after completing a sponsored slimming event.

The corporate banking directors from across the UK collectively lost 74lb to raise money for the charity, which supports and campaigns for people who have both hearing and sight difficulties.

"We're thrilled with this donation from the Royal Bank of Scotland," said Duncan Wilbur, corporate partnerships manager at Sense. "It's fantastic they have challenged themselves to a slimathon to help deafblind people who face enormous challenges all year round."
