FUNDRAISING NEWS: Breast Cancer puts £5m into research

Breast Cancer Research Scotland has set up a £5 million cash pot over the next five years for research to be conducted at Ninewells Hospital, University of Dundee.

The funding will help establish the hospital's Department of Surgery and Molecular Oncology and the Biomedical Research Centre as a leading institution in Europe for breast cancer research, treatment and care.

Breast Cancer Research Scotland plans to work in partnership with the university to fund clinical drug trials, research product developments and support all human and technical resources.
