Fundraising news in brief

Richmond Civic Trust Fund, a new grant maker, is inviting funding applications from charities and community groups for environmental and community facilities projects in the London Borough of Richmond.

The trust, which is awarding £10,000, has a deadline for applications of 15 February.

The Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust is the new name for the Fund and Friends of Addenbrooke's. The Cambridge hospital's charity arm rebranded to mark its 10th anniversary after research found the old name "lacked impact".

Charity Champions Card, a debit card for charity supporters, will launch this month. Maestro, owned by MasterCard, is offering the card. The launch will be backed by a DRTV, online and print campaign.

Everyclick, the online search engine that gives 50 per cent of its revenue to charities, is one of this year's finalists in the Jaeger-LeCoultre Daily Telegraph Business Personality of the Year awards. The site's founders estimate the site will raise more than £1m by the end of 2007.
