Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson and Gary Lineker are among 28 stars revealing their culinary secrets in a new cook book that is set to raise £50,000 for children's charity Barnardo's.

Recipes range from Tara Palmer Tomkinson's chocolate indulgence, to actress Brenda Blethyn's healthy rice pudding. Gabby Logan reveals what she cooks for husband, rugby player Kenny Logan, to keep him fit and healthy.

The book, which has been created as part of Barnardo's 'charity of the year' partnership with Tesco, is on sale at selected Tesco branches, via Tesco.com and www.barnardos.org.uk.

Copies will be sold for £5, and every penny will go to the charity as all production costs are being underwritten by UK food company Premier Foods, the company behind brands such as Branston Pickle and Typhoo Tea.

"We are delighted to be working in partnership with Premier Foods and Tesco.com in this way," said Andrew Nebel, UK marketing director at Barnardo's.

"Premier Foods' sponsorship of the launch and book means that every penny of the cover price goes towards Barnardo's work."

Barnardo's expects to raise £50,000 from sales of the book, and hopes to amass £2.5m for its 'building block' appeal through its partnership with Tesco.

The campaign will run in more than 800 stores, targeting 220,000 employees and around 12 million customers. At the end of the year, all money raised will be topped up with a 20 per cent donation from the Tesco Charity Trust.
