FUNDRAISING NEWS: Children's Society mails Gift Aid pack

The Children's Society is trying to encourage more of its supporters to Gift Aid their donations by telling them that it is "as easy as child's play".

The charity is targeting 30,000 supporters with a 'child's play' themed mailpack in a bid to raise an extra £200,000 from retrospective gift aid declarations. The pack, designed by creative agency Different Kettle, features a tick-box and includes a box of crayons so that donors can make their mark.

The mailing follows a successful telephone campaign designed to make supporters aware of gift aid, which boosted the charity's tax claim by more than £75,000.
