FUNDRAISING NEWS: Grants available for London's homeless

The Association of London Government is launching a £16,000 grant to help groups working with the homeless in the capital.

The Andy Ludlow Award 2003 will award prizes of up to £8,000 to groups that work to raise the profile of the homeless and design creative programmes to promote public understanding of the issue.

On top of the association's award, the London Housing Federation will also offer a grant of £5,000 to a voluntary-sector organisation working in this area.

Charities can apply for the grant by visiting www.alg.gov.uk to meet the deadline of 25 April.
