Fundraising News: Hunter to celebrate with welly donation

Outdoor clothing brand Hunter has produced a special range of Wellington boots to mark its 50th birthday, with money from each going to a designated charity.

Each of the seven ‘Giving Welly’ charities has been allocated a colour; such as pink for Breast Cancer Haven, black for the British Horse Society, red for the British Lung Foundation and aubergine for the Woodland Trust. Mark Sater, Hunter’s chairman, said: “Instead of a predictable champagne party we wanted to do something different, memorable and fun. Giving Welly will raise funds for a group of charities which represent causes we believe matter to Hunter’s customers.”

The boots are available for a year, with Hunter giving between £1.75 and £20 per pair sold.
