Comic Relief has announced a grants round of £3m from last year's Sport Relief for projects that aim to tackle divisions among young people across the UK.
The Sport Relief grants are aimed at partnerships made up of a range of agencies but led by a voluntary sector organisation, using sport and leisure activities to work with young people.
Victoria Southwell, UK grants officer, said: "We want to support work that brings together young people who are divided because of religion, race or territory."
Sport Relief 2004 raised £16m. As well as the £3m fund, £4m will be distributed by UK community foundations. The remainder will be spent internationally.
