Futurebuilders launches finance podcasts

Futurebuilders England, the third sector funding body, has a begun a series of podcasts designed to help voluntary organisations get to grips with finance.

Futurebuilders said the podcasts, which will be produced once a month or every two months, will “support trustees in understanding alternative finance”.

The first podcast is an interview with Lord Tim Clement-Jones, chair of autism education charity TreeHouse, who discusses his experience working with the trustees of his organisation in taking on a Futurebuilders investment.

Futurebuilders is aiming to reach about 3,000 third sector organisations with its first podcast. A spokeswoman for the investment fund said: “Podcasts are a new tool for communicating, and organisations should embrace new forms of communication.”
