The images, which range from hot lip kisses to a virtual boyfriend, cost £1 to send on the social networking website. However, they can send a rotten tomato free of charge.

All donations go to BHF’s Valentine Appeal. It aims to raise £1m to fund BHF Heart Nurses, who care for patients and their families.

To send a gift, visit the foundation’s website.
