The dates for this year's National Fundraisers' Convention are 5-7 July 2004. This year we have more than 120 workshops, sessions and plenaries, and with more than 1,200 delegates attending, the event promises to be one you can't afford to miss.
Look out for the preview and registration form, which will hit members' desks on 1 March.
We are also starting to recruit convention volunteers. Those interested will work on a voluntary basis and have an opportunity to gain valuable experience in team-working and events management, as well as the chance to attend selected sessions on a range of fund-raising topics and issues. If you are an Institute member who enjoys a challenge and has a sense of humour, why not apply?
Another way to attend the convention is through our bursary scheme. Each year the Institute offers a bursary for applicants who wish to attend, but who may not be able to afford the delegate fees. Bursary places are open to applicants who work in the not-for-profit sector and to those who can demonstrate that attendance will be beneficial to their personal and professional development. Bursaries are open to applicants regardless of their cause and the size of their organisation.
