This year's National Fundraising Convention, which takes place from 7-9 July, has a series of sessions aimed at the needs of senior fundraisers.
But we have struggled to identify who these people are. Are you a senior fundraiser? Is it a question of time before the mast or is it your job title?
For the purposes of the convention it is entirely up to you to decide.
One of the attractions of the convention is that many people choose to attend sessions that are advanced for their level of experience. For July, a senior fundraiser is anyone who needs to manage the relationship between fundraising and another professional discipline. That might be management, and so the sessions could be for a chief executive of a small organisation who line manages fundraising.
It might also be the relationship between marketing and fundraising.
Or public relations, or finance, or communications. If you have a need for a wider concern than just a technique of fundraising then I can guarantee you won't be alone at this convention.
We can't guarantee that we'll give you all the answers, but we can guarantee you will miss out if don't attend.
This column features one aspect of the Convention.
