Internocracy offers free guide to charity internships

Social enterprise wants to improve quality of work placements

A social enterprise has published a free guide to help third sector managers improve the quality of internships at their charities.

Internocracy, which helps organisations set up and run intern programmes, hopes the eight-page guide will ensure everyone working as an intern at a charity gets the opportunity to build their skills, confidence and experience.

The organisation, which is run by former interns and has already released a similar guide for MPs, wants to lower the barriers to intern programmes and raise standards.

The Intern Manager's Guide for Third Sector Organisations is available to download from the resources section on Internocracy's website.
