Music in Prisons, the charity that encourages offenders to create and perform music, has placed listening posts in the foyer of the concert venue on London's South Bank so visitors can hear pieces by inmates of Wandsworth and Holloway prisons.

Prisoners participating in the charity's projects enjoy significantly increased wellbeing and improvements in relationships and behaviour, according to the results of a study by the Institute of Criminology at Cambridge University, launched last week.

The installation runs until 13 November.
