Mountford takes final OTS deputy director post

The Office of the Third Sector has appointed Juliet Mountford as its new deputy director of strategy. She will oversee business strategy, communications and research functions within the office.

Mountford is the last of five deputy directors to be appointed. Each heads one of the office’s strategic teams: participation, social enterprise and finance, third sector support, strategy and communication and public sector partnership. All the positions were advertised at the same time, but the strategy and communication post took the longest time to fill.

Mountford’s experience includes time on the Respect Task Force at the Department for Children, Schools and Families; she has also worked for the Home Office.

Campbell Robb, director general of the Office of the Third Sector, said: “Juliet will enable the OTS to drive forward our agenda on research, strategy and communications.  Her skills will complement our existing senior management team and help to deliver on our commitments to the third sector.”
