Movers: Chris Ingram, managing director, Adepta

Ingram has taken on the role of leading Adepta, which will merge with fellow disability charity Dimensions shortly.

The merged organisation, which comes into existence on 1 August, will support 2,000 people with learning disabilities and autism in England and Wales. David Wolverson, chief executive of Dimensions, will have overall responsibility for the merged organisation. Ingram was previously operations director at Adepta, and before that held the same role at Look Ahead Housing and Care. He succeeds Cedric Frederick, who spent eight years as chief executive of Adepta.
