Movers: Pamela Williams-Jones, chief executive, Sense International

Williams- Jones joins deafblind charity Sense International from Orbis, the flying eye hospital, where she was executive director.

She joined Orbis in 2002 as director of fundraising and communications. Before that, she held managerial roles at Gap Activity Projects, a charity providing volunteering roles for young people taking gap years.

Williams-Jones said she would focus on expanding Sense's activities in India, Latin America and central and eastern Europe over the next five years. She succeeds Richard Hawkes, who left the charity last September.
