Roche joins the grant-giving trust from Birmingham City Council, where she managed the authority's third sector beacon project. She replaces James Fitzpatrick, who has joined the Roald Dahl Foundation as grants director after two years at the trust. "I'm excited about the prospect of using my entrepreneurial and partnership skills to work with the staff, board and partner organisations to ensure the continued long-term financial stability of the trust," said Roche. "I also want to ensure that the Digbeth Trust continues to contribute to the strategic development of the wider voluntary and community sector in Birmingham and the west Midlands."
