Moves: Robbie LeBlanc, director, Peta

Robbie LeBlanc is the new director of the European arm of animal rights organisation Peta, based in London.

A former senior financial analyst for the Guardian News and Media Group, Leblanc became vegetarian in his teens after seeing a pig being killed. "I have always been drawn to Peta and its affiliates for its bold activities," said LeBlanc. "Peta has created a brand and a style that grabs attention for serious animal issues, something difficult to do in today's culture."
