A service to help charities develop mergers and consortiums is being launched by third sector advice service Eastside Consulting. Richard Litchfield, chief executive of Eastside, who acted as temporary chief executive of third sector bidding consortium 3SC, said he wanted to help other third sector organisations share some of the lessons learned from developing 3SC.
The umbrella body Co-operatives UK will hold its annual conference from 25 to 27 June in Plymouth. Co-operatives 2010 will feature speeches from Phillip Blond, director of think tank ResPublica, and Peter Couchman, chief executive of the Plunkett Foundation. The Charity Finance Directors' Group and accountancy firm PKF have launched their ninth annual charity risk survey. Managing Risk: Moving Towards the Vision aims to help charity managers develop risk planning strategies.
