Sellers on auction website eBay will be able to donate a proportion of their proceeds to charity direct from their eBay accounts from March.
Currently, charity supporters selling items on the auction site have to leave eBay and visit a separate site, MissionFish.org.uk, in order make donations to good causes through the eBay for Charity scheme.
The programme will be relaunched in March so that sellers can manage their donations without leaving eBay.
"We are working with eBay to make supporting a charity an everyday part of using the site," said Nick Aldridge, chief executive of MissionFish, eBay's partner charity. "EBay for Charity has helped charities to raise £5m in its first two years. We are hoping for huge growth with this programme."
The scheme will continue to allow eBay's 21 million UK users to choose to donate to any of the 2,400 charities that have registered for the programme with MissionFish in the past two years.
