Funding not sufficient, says hospice charity

Help the Hospices has warned that a £40m cash injection from the government will do little to ease the financial problems faced by most hospices.
Ministers this week named the hospices that would receive a share of the funding, which was pledged in September last year. A total of 191 projects in 146 hospices each received a maximum of £250,000. Between them, they received £40m. A further £10m was announced for Marie Curie Cancer Care...
