Hospices fight back over full cost recovery

Charities are calling on the NHS to cover the full cost of hospice services after the Government instructed regulators to recover their full costs from hospices.

The Healthcare Commission, which regulates hospices, has announced a new fee structure for 2007/2008 to reflect government expectations that it recover the full cost of regulating providers of hospice care.
