Councils and charities should get on better, says report

Local area agreements have been a missed opportunity to strengthen relationships between the voluntary sector and local government and increase public service delivery by the sector, according to a report today by the National Audit Office.

The report also says LAAs and the third sector public services agenda have been developed "in parallel, by different parts of central government, with few, weak links between the two."
