There was a 100 per cent increase in the number of charity and public sector workers who quit their jobs last year, according to a survey by the Chartered Management Institute.
The survey showed that 5.2 per cent of staff in the charity and public sectors left their roles in the year ending January 2007, compared with 2.6 per cent the year before.
