£2.4m fund for green groups

A £2.4m fund to help protect and rebuild the UK's biodiversity is appealing for applications from environmental groups.

Biffaward, managed by the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts, uses landfill tax credits from Biffa Waste Services to support community and biodiversity projects and has given £85m to more than 1,000 projects since 1997.
