Hundreds fall victim to fake Quarriers advert scam

Staff at Scottish social care charity Quarriers are "angry and frustrated" over a scam that has resulted in money disappearing from the bank accounts of hundreds of people who believed they were applying to work for the charity.

The fraud used fake job adverts either emailed directly to victims or placed in newspapers in the United States and Canada.
