Baroness Thornton to chair training group

Baroness Glenys Thornton has been made chair of the advisory group that will train public sector staff to work with the voluntary sector.

The Labour peer, who is stepping down as chair of the Social Enterprise Coalition, will take charge of the advisory group's first meeting on 3 September.
